John Edwards joined the design staff of Stephen Varenhorst Architects in 2007. The 2006 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. During his studies, he worked for a design-build firm and for a healthcare architectural practice. He also had the opportunity to live and work for four months in Shanghai, China.

John brings computer proficiency and design skills to his work. He was involved with the adaptive reuse of the Board of Education Building on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. He is currently involved with several other multi-family residential projects.
