  • Varenhorst worked with Covenant House Pennsylvania to complete the renovation of a 40,000 square foot building into a multi-use crisis center, supporting the mission of the non-profit organization.  Located in Philadelphia’s Germantown neighborhood, spaces included in vision and function of the center include dormitory-style housing, childcare facilities, dining and kitchen facilities, a fitness center, administrative and staff offices, conference rooms, lounges, a chapel, and a health clinic operated by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Covenant House Pennsylvania, the local chapter of the international non-profit organization, is dedicated to immediate assistance and services for homeless and runaway youth.  This project is one in an ongoing series of collaborations between Varenhorst and Covenant House Pennsylvania.
